Week 2 NFL Power Rankings: Arizona Cardinals not at bottom
By Scott Allen
The New York Giants scored first on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. They lead 7-0 and looked good doing it with running back Saquon Barkley.
That was all the positives from their end of things. After that the Cowboys had their way with the G-Men. Dallas jumped out to a 35-10 fourth quarter lead before winning 35-17.
There are a lot of holes around the Giants roster. One of them right now should not be considered Eli Manning. He actually played well but didn’t get much help. He was 30-44 for 306-yards and a touchdown, no interceptions.
Week 2 had the Giants headed home for their opener against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills get to play in the same stadium for two consecutive weeks after playing the Jets last Sunday, so we will see if that has any affect at all.
It is likely a stretch to think it will but these Giants will find new ways to surprise you. However with Barkley in the lineup, the run game should be healthy even against a stout Bills defense.
