The Arizona Cardinals lost to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday but there were some very good performances

Granted, an Arizona Cardinals 23-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday stings given the Cardinals had their chances to win.  However despite some breakdowns on both sides of the ball on Sunday, there were some performances to be excited about.

These performances can be taken into weeks 3 and 4 against the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks no doubt.  It is a work in progress but is trending in the right direction for this team.

Christian Kirk

It sure looks like Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is going to know who his number one receiver is going to be once Larry Fitzgerald retires.  Kirk had a very nice afternoon on Sunday in Baltimore.

Kirk had 6 receptions for 114-yards.  He had a long reception of 34-yards Sunday afternoon.  He still hasn’t found the end zone but with time plenty of those should come for Kirk.

Kirk not only looks like a go-to guy but also a deep threat.  His ability to find running room after the catch will pay dividends for years.  Kind of reminds you of a guy called Fitz.
