With home games the next couple of weeks and now news the Arizona Cardinals will likely miss some big name quarterbacks, there is renewed hope for the 2019 season

All of a sudden, maybe, just maybe, the Arizona Cardinals have run into a little luck when it comes to their schedule.  Happenings around the league quarterback-wise may have something to do with that.

This week the Cardinals play the Carolina Panthers at home.  Reports suggest Panthers quarterback Cam Newton may not play.  He has yet to practice this week.

That would leave the backup to Kyle Allen, someone Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray should be familiar with from his Texas A&M days.  Local high school football fans will know Allen from Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale.

However this week is just part of the possible fun for the Cardinals.  Although they will have to face their division rival Seattle Seahawks on September 29th, the game will be at home.

The Cardinals haven’t played well against the Seahawks at home as of late, losing five of the last six at State Farm Stadium to the Seahawks.  The lone non-loss was the ridiculous 6-6 tie a few years ago. Last season, despite the 3-13 record, the Cardinals had a late lead they blew at home to the Hawks and lost 20-17.
