Some good things happened on Sunday but in the end there were some very disappointing performances for the Arizona Cardinals

Over the first couple of weeks, despite the Arizona Cardinals not defeating the Detroit Lions or Baltimore Ravens, they appeared to have fight.  On Sunday, there were some performances against the Carolina Panthers that were quite disappointing.

Stopping short of saying they gave up, it just didn’t appear there was fight.  Now, it could just be these guys aren’t as good as we thought they’d be.

The Panthers had some of their top players out and still were able to put up 38 points on Sunday, thanks to a full game effort from their offense and a second half effort from their defense.  However the Panthers seemed to have their way on both sides of the ball.

These five players here are going to have to simply play better.  There was a lack of offensive focus at times and the defense pretty much took the afternoon off save for a player or two.

The good news all five of these players can play better because we’ve seen them play better.  However when there is no fight left in the player, it doesn’t matter how good or bad they are, it won’t end well.
