The Arizona Cardinals continue to nurse some injuries in preparation for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday

Four players on the Arizona Cardinals injury report from Wednesday did not practice.  Thursday’s reports are there were three not seen in the open portion of practice.

The most notable of those missing practice again on Thursday was punter Andy Lee.  Lee suffered a hip flexor injury against the Carolina Panthers last Sunday.

A predictable move was made on Tuesday to sign punter Ryan Winslow to the practice squad in case he was needed.  It is looking more and more like it could be Winslow getting the call on Sunday but there are still a couple of days between now and then.

Also not practicing on Thursday was safety Charles Washington.  Some believe Washington’s injury is a reason behind the signing of safety Chris Banjo on Wednesday.

Receiver Damiere Byrd also did not practice on Thursday.  So far through three weeks, Byrd has 12 receptions for 96-yards and no touchdowns.  Byrd was a pleasant surprise coming out of training camp and the preseason.

Offensive lineman Lamont Gaillard who did not practice on Wednesday, practiced for the first time this season.  He has yet to get into a game this season after suffering a knee injury prior to the season starting.

That would be huge if Gaillard could play this Sunday.  He may not be 100 percent but they need all the bodies they can get on the line.

Three Cardinals defensive linemen were limited in practice on Wednesday.  Jonathan Bullard, Miles Brown, and Corey Peters all were limited.  It sounds like they at least kept that status or better on Thursday.

Bullard has been another who has struggled with injury this season.  He’s been dealing with a hamstring issue.  Linebacker Ezekiel Turner was also limited Wednesday but was not mentioned as missing practice Thursday, so we’ll see what the official injury report for the day brings later.
