Stat sheet tells different story

Take away the Clowney interception return for touchdown and the two Zane Gonzalez missed field goals, and the Cardinals have a shot to win at the end of the game.  However too many mistakes the don’t show up on the stat sheet, like missed tackles, were the difference.

That 8 minute drive by the Seahawks in the fourth quarter might be the biggest difference on the state sheet, as it resulted in the Seahawks time of possession ending up 7 minutes longer for the game.

The first downs were almost even, Seahawks 21-20.  Total yards the Seahawks finished up 340-321.  The one turnover was a huge difference as well, but still just the one turnover by the Cardinals.

Penalties were even at 7 each but the Cardinals had a couple of very untimely ones that kept drives alive for the Seahawks.  It was all in the details and the Cardinals aren’t taking care of them right now.
