Still looking for their first win of 2019, the hobbling Arizona Cardinals head to winless Cincinnati on Sunday to face the Bengals

We may get some bad news on a couple of Arizona Cardinals injured players on Wednesday, however it is still a good chance they can come away with a win. It won’t be easy, it never is but the chance may not be greater in the month of October.

The calendar has turned.  The Cardinals went 0-3-1 in the month of September and to the naked eye, appear to be regressing, if that was possible?

The statistics however tell a different story, at least offensively.  There are some reasons that give good hope to a win Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

There are two winless teams here and one is going to leave the stadium with their first win.  Or they could tie, but let’s not go down that road.

Bengals injuries

The Cardinals have their share of injuries for sure.  They are likely to lose a couple of their stars for awhile on Wednesday.  The Bengals already know who they will be without.

Already down receiver A.J. Green, they are going to be without receiver John Ross II after he was injured in the Bengals 27-3 loss on Monday night to the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Their defensive line is also hurt, without tackle Ryan Glasgow on Monday night as well.
