The Arizona Cardinals take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday
After enjoying some home cooking a bit over the first month and a half of the season, the Arizona Cardinals go out on the road Sunday for the first of two consecutive games away from the friendly confines of State Farm Stadium. They start with the New York Giants on Sunday.
It has been difficult this week to gauge just what kind of game we will see. The Cardinals (2-3-1) are looking for their third straight win. The Giants (2-4) look forward to getting their running back Saquon Barkley back on Sunday.
So what will we see? Here are some predictions.
Cardinals get first interception of season
With the return of cornerback Patrick Peterson, look for the Cardinals to start stopping some of the bleeding on defense. Some of that bleeding is not getting any turnovers.
The Cardinals are the last team in the NFL to get an interception. They had only recovered 3 fumbles and do not have a pick yet. They’ve had a couple of close opportunities and knocked some good passes down but don’t have the turnover yet.
Not only are the Cardinals going to get their first interception against the Giants, it will be by Peterson himself. He’s thirsty to make the most of the 10 games left on the schedule.
