It was a victory Sunday for the Arizona Cardinals over the New York Giants, but leave plenty to still work on

Even after victory, there are always things to work on.  For the Arizona Cardinals, that is always a given.  They took a 17-0 lead in the first quarter on the New York Giants en route to a 27-21 victory.  But as usual, they let them back in the game.

The Giants even had a couple of chances to take the lead.  It seemed at times, once again, the Cardinals were doing the best they could to give the game to the Giants.

In the end they won and it is much easier to work on things after a win rather than a loss.  Here are some things they need to continue working at improving.

Tight end coverage

Actually it wasn’t too bad overall on Sunday.  The Cardinals seemed to have more trouble with the receivers against the Giants.

However their lone touchdown pass?  Yeah, that was another tight end.  Their best tight end, Evan Engram only had a single catch for 6-yards, so he was a non-factor coming off injury.

Their other tight end though, Rhett Ellison, made a couple of good catches, including a mind-boggling 28-yard touchdown.  He caught it in between three defenders, including safety Budda Baker who was caught just staring at the catch.
