The Arizona Cardinals may have come up short against the San Francisco 49ers but these three players had a great night on Thursday

Their were definitely some lax effort by some guys on defense for the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.  However a number of players gave it their best shot and allowed them to stay in a game they probably had no business being in.

Several players played well, mainly on offense but there is one defensive effort to be recognized from the Cardinals 28-25 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.  The nation got to see just how dangerous this Cardinals team could be in the near future.

That said, these 3 players deserve recognition.  They put the Cardinals on their back Thursday night as they eventually saw the 49ers break an 8-game losing streak to the Cardinals, dating back to December 2014.

While it was disheartening to see the Cardinals come up short again and leave us with should have’s and could have’s, it is still nice to see the effort.  So who came up big Thursday night?

It should be no surprise most of the success stories from Thursday night are on the offensive side of the ball.  However there is one defensive effort to be commended.
