Although they made one too many mistakes overall, the Arizona Cardinals had some players step up to the plate against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday

It was a hard fought game for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in their 30-27 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  Despite the loss the Cardinals still saw some good performances.

Several players put in a good day’s work but just couldn’t bring it all together as a team.  The Cardinals have lost 3 straight since winning 3 straight.

These 3 Cardinals players though shined above the rest in Sunday’s loss.  Hopefully they can carry that into their next game at the San Francisco 49ers.

Kyler Murray

Sure, he threw his first interception since September 30th but we can’t even really put that on him.  His receiver, Trent Sherfield, fell after getting feet tangled with Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean.

However, he threw three more touchdowns on Sunday.  He threw for 324-yards.  His overall rating was 97.2 for the game.

Murray went another game without a fumble.  He is the only quarterback in the NFL who has not lost one yet.  He also had 3 more nice runs for a total of 38-yards, which all came at very opportune times of the game.
