The Arizona Cardinals may be 3-7-1 but they have many things to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to the best fans in the NFL, Birdgang!  Arizona Cardinals football has 5 more weeks in 2019 and much to look forward to in 2020.

As we celebrate the kickoff of the holiday season, while there are things the Cardinals need to fix, there are are also things we should all be thankful for.  Here are 5 of them.

Kyler Murray

Honestly, we were not high on him when the Cardinals were thinking of taking him first overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.  Many of us felt like the Cardinals were giving up on Josh Rosen too soon.

However after 11 games, it would be safe to say the majority of fans are all in on Murray now.  He has provided spark and an excitement to an offense that was practically non-existent in 2018.

That wasn’t Rosen’s fault either.  He was thrust into a starting spot much earlier than the Cardinals would have liked.  Then when the clinched the number one spot in the draft, it was inevitable the Cardinals would look his direction.

Murray has 14 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions so far and has a better quarterback rating this season than Tom Brady.  Albeit a slightly better rating, but still, that should tell you everything you need to know going forward.
