The Arizona Cardinals may be 3-7-1 but they have some individual players making noise for a possible trip to the Pro Bowl

When he was drafted two years ago, Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker looked like the real deal.  Then he tailed off a bit in 2018, much like many Cardinals players did.

He has been one of the bright spots on a rather dismal performing defense in 2019.  He is consistently among the high tackle guys week in and week out.  He is a hard hitter and more times than not has seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

He’s been in double digit tackles 4 times this season.  He has a total of 98 tackles, 4 shy of his career high of 102 last year.

He has 6 passes defensed, 1 shy of his high of 7 from 2 years ago and there are still 5 games remaining. He ranks second at his position in voting.

Kicker Zane Gonzalez has been pretty close to money this season.  Yes, he missed an extra point 2 weeks ago against the San Francisco 49ers but he is 20-21 on the season.

He is 26-29 on field goals this season as well and leads the team in scoring.  He’s come a long way from being jettisoned by the Cleveland Browns part way into the 2018 season.

He finished off the 2018 campaign in Arizona but many fans were still skeptical.  He’s currently third in voting among NFC kickers.

Chandler Jones has already done enough to make it but he’s on pace to out-do his 2017 season when he lead the NFL in sacks with 17.  He currently has 12.5 with the 5 games left.  He is currently 3rd in the NFC.

Other players that deserve votes are quarterback Kyler Murray, receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and punter Andy Lee.  If he had not missed a few weeks, one could argue for Christian Kirk as well but he will eventually get there.
