The Arizona Cardinals took it to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, possibly ending their opportunity for a number one seed in the playoffs

After the first offensive drive of the day for the Arizona Cardinals going 3 and out, then the Seattle Seahawks taking the ball down for a touchdown in 7 plays, it seemed like business as usual for the 2019 Cardinals.  It certainly didn’t work out that way.

The Cardinals put together arguably their best all-around game in a couple of years, holding the Seahawks to 224-yards while gaining 266-yards on the ground alone.  Naturally, with the 27-13 win came some very good performances.

A number of players showed up on both sides of the ball on Sunday.  There were 3 players in particular that deserve game balls.

Brett Hundley

The backup quarterback came into play for really the first time this season.  Sure, Hundley mopped up a game earlier but this was the first time he was pressed into service.

Kyler Murray left the game early in the third quarter with a hamstring injury.  Hundley came in and kept the Cardinals offense above water.

Hundley was sacked in his first series but after that, he ran the offense well.  The most impressive drive was the one that went 9-plays 78-yards resulting in a late fourth quarter touchdown.

That drive started with a 28-yard pass from Hundley to tight end Maxx Williams.  He also had a 14-yard scramble on third and 2.  That play he kept himself in-bounds to run clock.
