The Arizona Cardinals final injury report was released Friday and includes a couple of questionable players

The good news is Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has not been ruled out for Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Rams, yet.  The bad news is he is still listed as questionable.

That is par for the course though.  He had the same designation last week and played but got hurt during the game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Murray isn’t the only one going into week 17 listed as questionable however.  Tight end Charles Clay has also received the designation.  Tight end Darrell Daniels though has been listed as out for Sunday’s finale.

Safety Budda Baker, linebacker Chandler Jones, and guard Justin Pugh were all full participants in practice on Friday.  All are expected to play.

Jones will be going for his 20th sack.  Pugh has had a strong season.  Baker, along with Jones, will be going to the Pro Bowl.

At this point all we want to see, besides victory over the Rams, is for everyone involved in Sunday’s game to come out of the game unscathed.  At the very least, no major injuries that will ruin the offseason and any part of the 2020 season.

The game only means draft positioning for both teams.  The Rams were eliminated from playoff contention last week after dropping a close 34-31 decision to the San Francisco 49ers.

Both Murray and Jones can help their causes to win postseason awards.  Murray should be in the running for Rookie of the Year.  His main competition is Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs.  Jacobs though has missed 2 of the last 3 games.

dark. Next. Cardinals could send David Johnson packing

As for Jones, the only thing keeping him from winning Defensive Player of the Year is the team record.  Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason to keep him from the award.  To go with his 19 sacks are 2 forced fumbles.
