The Arizona Cardinals are a young team and have a lot of potential but these 3 are poised to be stars

Just because we proclaim one could be star next season doesn’t mean it will happen.  However for these 3 Arizona Cardinals players the star could shine brightly in 2020 for them.

Certainly this doesn’t consider who the Cardinals may pick up in free agency or draft in April’s 2020 NFL Draft.  This only considers those who are on the current roster and know will be on the roster come September.

Christian Kirk

Fans have been waiting on him for 2 seasons now.  It sounded like at times some were ready to give up on him.  Don’t give up on him.

Kirk was mired in a poor offense his rookie season, one he saw end prematurely thanks to an injury suffered against the Green Bay Packers on the first Sunday of December in 2018. He caught just 43 passes in his first season.

In his second season, Kirk caught 68 passes but played in only one more game.  He played in 12 his rookie season and 13 this past season.  He missed 3 games due to injury.

The production is coming.  Having 68 receptions on a team full of offensive weapons is decent.  He caught for 709-yards.  Now the Cardinals just need to feed him in the end zone more as he caught just 3 touchdown passes in 2019.

His time is coming and 2020 could just be the breakout year that puts him in the upper echelon of NFL receivers.  It won’t come easy but he has the talent to make it happen.
