10 players for Arizona Cardinals to watch at Combine
By Scott Allen
Thaddeus Moss, TE, LSU
We all got to see what he did a month ago in the National Championship Game. The Cardinals do not necessarily need a tight end but an upgrade is always possible. Getting younger is always optimal.
Moss had a big Championship game but his stats in 2019 were not overwhelming. He caught 47 passes for 570-yards and 4 touchdowns total.
We all know he has the genes. His dad is former NFL receiver Randy Moss. There will likely be a number of teams looking for a tight end.
The Cardinals could also find a tight end in free agency. If that happens, then they likely won’t even entertain drafting one. However the Scouting Combine happens prior to free agency.
With the Cardinals carrying 4 tight ends currently, its a large number of an offense that doesn’t use the tight end often. At 6’3 and 249, Moss would make a good target for Murray.
