Trevis Gipson, DE, Tulsa

Speaking of defensive ends, this one may be better than Kareem.  Sure big game experience is a plus but judging from Gipson’s results, he can not be ignored.

Gipson is the same size as Kareem.  He stands at 6’4, 268 lbs.  He played four seasons with the Golden Hurricane.

He also finished with 13 career sacks but 8 of them came last season in 2019.  He also registered 49 tackles, an astounding 15 for loss, almost one-third of his tackle total.

He had 8 forced fumbles during his time at Tulsa.  Of those, 2 came in 2019 but his career high actually came in 2018 as a junior with 5, which lead the American Conference that season.

If there’s any general manager that is willing to take a chance on someone like Gipson, it would be Steve Keim.  He’s never been one to pay attention to just the school the player played for.
