Curtis Weaver, LB, Boise State

Weaver has to be a player a lot of teams will want to pay attention to next week in Indianapolis.  He put up some impressive numbers at Boise State.

The linebacker had 52 tackles last season, 19.5 of them for loss.  Of those, 13.5 were registered sacks.  He also had an interception to go along with that, giving him 2 interceptions over his three seasons for the Broncos.

He was credited with 3 passes defensed and a forced fumble.  Another linebacker that likes to be where the ball is, something that was missing a lot in the Cardinals middle last season outside of veterans Chandler Jones and Jordan Hicks.

Weaver had 34 sacks in his three years at Boise.  He’s a little smaller in height at 6’3 but is listed at 265lbs.  We’ll have to see how his skills test compared to some of the other linebackers at the Combine.
