De’Vondre Campbell

Grade: B

The Cardinals got another linebacker they needed in free agency.  While Kennard is more of a pass rusher, Campbell is the guy they needed as a disruption in the middle.

Campbell had just 2 sacks last year but he had 5 passes defensed and 2 interceptions.  He is very ball aware.  He also forced 3 fumbles last season for the Atlanta Falcons.

Campbell enters his fifth NFL season, having played all 4 previously with the Falcons.  He is not only ball aware but is very active.  He had 129 tackles last season and knows how to stay healthy as he has played in all 16 games in each of the last 3 seasons.

Next. Kenyan Drake tagged by the Cardinals. dark

The Cardinals have had difficulty keeping linebackers healthy so hopefully this is a corner turn for a franchise that goes through linebackers quickly.  A very good addition for the Cardinals.  Again not the most Earth-shattering but a strong move in the right direction.
