The Arizona Cardinals are still currently scheduled to pick 8th in the upcoming NFL Draft on Thursday night

If you know what the Arizona Cardinals are going to do Thursday night in first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, go ahead and let us know.  At this point, it’s doubtful the Cardinals themselves are so sure.

There is still a lot of speculation around receiver, defensive line, and offensive line.  So, cornerback confirmed, right?  Well, here are the best options for the Cardinals right now.

There has been talk of them trading back or even trying to move up.  If they do move up it could be in fact for Jeff Okudah, cornerback from Ohio State.

If that happens, you’re probably seeing the Cardinals trade with the Detroit Lions.  Many people think the Lions will draft him.  Is he worth trading up for though?  He is likely to command a lot back.

If they stay at 8 and they go receiver, of course the fan favorite (and Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray‘s) CeeDee Lamb.  New Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins said the other day he was flattered to hear Lamb was compared to him, he’d love to have him here.

If the Cardinals go offensive line Jedrick Wills Jr. from Alabama is an excellent choice.  Some see Tristan Wirfs from Iowa or even Mekhi Becton from Louisville as options.  You can’t go wrong with any of those choices.

Defensive line Derrick Brown from Auburn keeps coming up.  The Cardinals may want to trade up if they go that route however.  A number of people have the Carolina Panthers grabbing him at number 7 right in front of the Cardinals.

Next. Youngsters need to step up for Cardinals. dark

With the current environment we are living in, I think we can expect to see the unexpected given that teams were not able to do their usual scouting and meeting of players ahead of the draft.  Whoever the Cardinals draft, let’s just hope it’s someone we’ve talked about and not a guy out of left field that throws everyone off track.
