The NFL plans on releasing the Arizona Cardinals schedule next week

It appears for now the NFL plans on having fans in the stands for its 2020 season, which will be scheduled to kickoff on Thursday September 10th.  The Arizona Cardinals and their fans should know the schedule by May 9th.

Although never confirmed the exact date the schedule will be released, a number of outlets have said it could be May 9th.  However that falls on a Saturday.  We shall see.

As it stands now, the Cardinals are still slated to host a home game in Mexico City.  There haven’t been any announcements as to the status of that game one way or another.

The Cardinals home opponents include the Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins. They are scheduled to go on the road to face the Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Carolina Panthers.

So assuming the information is the NFL is not altering the schedule in any form or fashion in regards to the pandemic, how will the Cardinals schedule play out?  We made some initial predictions after the 2019 season ended but knowing what we know now, here’s another prediction on how it could play out.
