JoJo Ward, WR, Hawaii
Sure, we know there isn’t much space in the receiver room. We’ve debated which of the top 7 wouldn’t survive if they only go with 6 next season.
However, what if someone unexpected came in and took camp by storm that made you re-evaluate what you already had? What if that happened at receiver?
Ward had 20 touchdowns on 116 receptions for 1999-yards over his two seasons at Hawaii. Could he possibly squeeze someone out? We saw what Trent Sherfield did two years ago but then again there was less to work with in 2018.
With the room at DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk, Andy Isabella, Keesean Johnson, and Hakeem Butler as the top 6, Ward would have to somehow be convincing enough to make the team.
Don’t count him out. Maybe he ends up on a practice squad? We haven’t see Butler since last August and we rarely saw Isabella last season. There’s always a chance.
