Week 4: @ Carolina Panthers
Not our favorite place to see the Cardinals travel to. The Panthers came to Arizona last season and after trailing at halftime, took control in the third quarter and ran away for a 38-20 victory.
The Cardinals will be facing a team that some expect to be a surprise in 2020 with a new coach in Matt Rhule. They also signed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater but he’ll compete with Will Grier for the starting spot.
They still have Christian McCaffrey, so he’s going to be a handful. The Cardinals second trip on the road may not be as fun as the first. Carolina gives the Cardinals their first loss 33-23.
Week 5: @ New York Jets
The last time these two tangoed in Glendale, the Cardinals ran over them on Monday Night Football. Neither team has had much success since that 2016 meeting.
This will be the first of two games at MetLife Stadium for the Cardinals this season. Kyler Murray and Chase Edmonds had a great afternoon there last season.
The Cardinals road woes will continue though. Another early Sunday window loss. Jets take care of business at home 26-14.
Week 6: @ Dallas Cowboys (Mon)
Getting the extra day of rest onto their third consecutive road game may prove to be helpful in this Monday Night Football matchup. There will be a lot of excitement building up to this one.
It will be the first time Murray will face the Cowboys. This will be a good early season gauge as to where the Cardinals are and where they might go in 2020.
The Cardinals will pull off the upset at AT&T Stadium. Cardinals win 31-28.
Week 7: Seattle Seahawks
Well we know this game usually doesn’t go well for the Cardinals. They’ve not defeated the Seahawks at home since 2012, Russell Wilson‘s rookie debut.
However this time the Cardinals will be at home for the first time since week 3. If there are no fans in the stands though, will it matter. Seattle defeats the Cardinals 27-24.
