Tight End (3)

Starter: Dan Arnold

Backups: Maxx Williams, Darrell Daniels

Cut: Dylan Cantrell

At least on the offensive side of the ball, this group might be the biggest unknowns.  Certainly we know who these guys are individually but there really hasn’t been a lot of hype on this group of tight ends.

Arnold proved at the end of the 2019 season he belonged. With very little experience joining the team last season after a stint with the New Orleans Saints, his addition didn’t turn many heads initially.

Now, he appears to be on the verge of being a starter.  Williams is slotted to be the starter right now but he’s been injured during camp.  Arnold has had a very good camp.

The Cardinals don’t use their tight ends as much as other teams, something that has carried from back in the Bruce Arians era.  They like to use their ends more for blocking than on the receiving end of things in Kliff Kingsbury‘s offense.
