The Arizona Cardinals set their initial 53-man roster on Saturday, cutting 16 players overall

On Friday, the Arizona Cardinals cut five players and then an additional 16 players were given pink slips on Saturday.  The team is now set at the 53-man regular season limit but expect changes.

For now though, what are the biggest roster decisions the Cardinals made this weekend?  There certainly is a lot out there for discussion, despite the majority of the roster is not a huge surprise.

The team will still make moves this week.  You can count on that as we find out more about who was released around the league.  Then there is of course a practice squad to put together.

With no preseason games played this year due to the COVID-19 it was really tough for some to decipher who the better players were.  Still, every team is in the same boat.

Now we move into the regular season and see who got it mostly right.  Some roster decisions though we may be talking about for awhile.
