The Arizona Cardinals have voted on their 2020 offensive, defensive, and special teams captains. Who made the cut?

On Wednesday, the Arizona Cardinals named their captains for 2020 with the season opener in San Francisco just around the corner. Voting goes off of reputation as well as their leadership during training camp. Typically, teams have at least one captain for each phase of the game, offense, defense, and special teams respectively.

Captains are chosen based on votes by the players on the roster, so there’s a certain amount of weight to it when it comes from your peers. This year there is a good mix of familiar veterans appointed, and also a few first time captains. It’s always fun to see some of the young stars on your team not only perform well but also take responsibility to make the guys around them better.
