The Arizona Cardinals are heading into a Week Three tilt with the Detroit Lions and their sixth-ranked offense matches well in every facet against the Lions 29th-ranked total defense.

Thus far, Detroit has struggled to stop the run while their top corners have given up big plays left and right to opposing quarterbacks. Over the last five quarters, the Lions have allowed 63 points and 584 total yards to the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. And this presents a golden opportunity for an Arizona Cardinals offense that has averaged 27 points against two talented defenses.

Quarterback Kyler Murray could find himself enjoying a field day against the Lions meager pass rush. While his receivers in DeAndre Hopkins, Andy Isabella, and Larry Fitzgerald are talented enough to take advantage of Detroit’s pass defense which has allowed a quarterback rating of 105.7 through two games.

Especially with corner Desmond Trufant listed as doubtful heading into the game. Rookie corner Jeff Okudah and second-year corner Amani Oruwariye have also struggled.

The Cardinals running game has started off slow in Weeks One and Two but running back Kenyan Drake picked up the pace in garbage time against Washington. In Week Three, Drake has a chance to get going early against the Lions 32nd-ranked rush defense.
