Kyler Murray’s production

On Sunday versus Carolina, despite a pedestrian 4.29 yards per pass and 133 yards passing, Kyler Murray still put together a three-touchdown day while completing 77.4 percent of his passes. He also logged a quarterback rating of 116.7. Not great from a yardage standpoint. But not bad either.

Last week, we saw Murray’s production dip when he threw three interceptions and rushed for just 29 yards. This week, we saw flashes of the Kyler Murray we’ve come to know with 6 rushing attempts for 78 yards. Including a career-best 48-yard scamper to at least keep things somewhat interesting.

It shows we’ll continue to see Murray have a few games as he did against Detroit. And we’ll also see him put up pedestrian yet solid numbers like we saw today. But we’ll also see the Kyler Murray who looked like the quarterback ready to take the next step as he did against the 49ers and Washington.
