The Arizona Cardinals are halfway through the season at 5-3 and start the second half Sunday vs the Buffalo Bills at State Farm Stadium in Glendale
We are one half of the season completed as of last Sunday’s Arizona Cardinals game against the Miami Dolphins. They start the second half of the season this Sunday hosting the Buffalo Bills.
The Cardinals are 5-3 after 8 games. They easily could be 7-1 or 3-5 if things had fallen the right way. Essentially we know the Cardinals are a good team but far from great. They are still a work in progress.
The schedule in the first half of the season wasn’t particularly tough, although some games were considered among the toughest on the entire schedule that didn’t end up being that way.
The Cardinals had wins at Dallas on Monday Night Football and Seattle on Sunday Night Football. Those both looked like the toughest of the first 8 games and the Cardinals won both.
Then they lost to the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Panthers. Both of those games seemed like they would be among the easiest. That’s the NFL for you.
Now to award the best players and plays of the first half of the season. All 8 games were exciting to watch.
