The Arizona Cardinals are coming off a heartbreaking loss in week nine. And things don’t get any easier as the 7-2 Buffalo Bills fly into town.

The Arizona Cardinals are decimated on defense, with key players piling up on IR plus several key defensive contributors missing practice this week. The Cardinals defense has been tested in recent weeks against talented offenses and it doesn’t get any easier with the Buffalo Bills coming off of a 44-point showing against the Seattle Seahawks.

While the Cardinals have one of the league’s most explosive offensive units, head coach Kliff Kingsbury‘s questionable playcalling last Sunday left potential points and perhaps a win on the field. Kingsbury made the strange call to kick a field goal in favor of keeping the ball in his best player’s hands with the game on the line. It resulted in a missed field goal and another mark in the ‘L’ column for the Cards.

Finally, the Cardinals need to stop relying on quarterback Kyler Murray so much in the running game. The Bills defense is too talented of a unit to go one-dimensional against. The Cardinals again rely on Murray in the run, the Bills defense will adjust. Doing all they can to make life miserable for Murray and the explosive Cardinals offense.

Running back Kenyan Drake is still limited in practice and it indicates that he isn’t at 100 percent. His backup in Chase Edmonds all but botched his opportunity to prove he can be a legitimate RB1 in the league with a meager performance in week nine. If the Cardinals want to beat the Bills, they need one of their backs to step up and take pressure off of Murray.
