Arizona Cardinals can’t afford loss to Rams
By Scott Allen
The Arizona Cardinals come into Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams sitting in the 7th NFC Playoff spot
Here we are, week 12 and the Arizona Cardinals (6-5) are fighting for their playoff lives. They also happen to be playing the Los Angeles Rams (7-4) who they are fighting for playoff and NFC West positioning.
Both teams are in a playoff spot at the moment. However the Cardinals come in with a 6-game losing streak to the Rams. The last Cardinals victory in the series was in January 2017 at the end of the 2016 season.
What: Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals
Where: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ
When: Sunday December 6th, 2020 2:05 p.m.
TV/Radio: FOX 10 (Chris Myers, Brock Huard, Greg Jennings)
The Cardinals are coming off a loss to the New England Patriots, a game in which they should have easily won. However failure to score on fourth down at the end of the first half and a missed field goal late did them in.
As for the Rams, they too are coming off a loss. They were swept by the San Francisco 49ers. Now both teams continue their fight for a playoff spot. A loss by the Cardinals on Sunday would be more devastating to chances than that of the Rams.
