The Arizona Cardinals have a golden opportunity against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday

The Arizona Cardinals failed to take care of business last Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. They showed little interest in grabbing the final playoff spot in the NFC.

It turns out, had they won, they’d almost still be in the same position they will be on Sunday in Los Angeles against the Rams.  If they had beaten the Niners, they’d currently be tied with the Rams.

A loss to the Rams would have kicked them out in that scenario if Chicago lost to the Green Bay Packers this Sunday, something that has a high likelihood of happening. Now, the only way the Cardinals get in is with a win.

Other than that, it is just another Sunday, but it really isn’t.  The Cardinals can finish as high as the sixth seed if they win and Chicago loses on Sunday.

If they win and Chicago wins, then it’ll be the seventh seed for the Cardinals. If the Rams win, the Bears are in no matter what happens to them against the Packers.

With that said, we look forward to Sunday’s game.  Here are some bold predictions.
