Larry Fitzgerald will catch two of Murray’s touchdown passes

With this possibly being Cardinals receiver Fitzgerald’s last career game, although as usual we won’t know anything until the end of January, look for Murray to get Fitz involved in the offense as much as he can.

Fitz has 18 career touchdown receptions against the Rams, second to only to his 19 against the Niners. With two touchdown receptions on Sunday, that would give him 20 against them.

After Fitz caught his first touchdown of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles a couple of weeks ago, after the game Murray talked about how he wanted to get Fitz the ball in the end zone.

Fitz missed the game against the Rams the last time around when he was out with Covid.  The two touchdowns would also avoid finishing the regular season with a career-low one touchdown catch.  His career-low is two touchdowns in 2014.

Next. No more excuses for Kingsbury. dark

So look for the Cardinals to make a concerted effort to get Fitz the ball.  Hopefully it’s not his last season as many of us would like him to go at least one more.
