How different would this season have been if Tyrod Taylor never has his lung puncture incident? I definitely wouldn’t be considering him an option to be one of the Arizona Cardinals backup quarterbacks. The starting role was given to rookie Justin Herbert, and the rest is history.

Tyrod Taylor is totally suitable to be with Arizona, earning a pro-bowl nod in 2015 and having three decent years as the main starter in Buffalo. He even helped get their playoff draught erased too.

So the leadership qualities are there, and as many times as he’s been a backup, he’s been mostly a team player. As an unrestricted free agent who’s coming off a 2 year, 11 million dollar contract with 6 of that 11 guaranteed. He’d be an affordable option to backup Kyler Murray as he’d most likely get a similar deal here in the desert.
