Throughout the 100-plus years of the team, there are many players that have come and gone. But which are the ones that’ve slipped your mind?

Everybody remembers when they became a fan. But do you remember who was on the team the first year you rooted for them? I can remember the 2004 squad like it was the back of my hand. For the top five forgotten Arizona Cardinals there are many to choose from. From offensive linemen to kickers, there will be modern players and some from the team’s past. Get ready for some time travelling with these players you’re about to re-discover, with unique names bound to be found in this list.

Further criteria for this list will ignore the length of time that person was with the team, as I try to find the more quirky facts and what their impact meant to the team. Regardless of where the team was located at the time, we’ll refer to them as Arizona Cardinals. This list is in no particular order.

Additionally, it can be said that a fan should know the team’s history to therefore enjoy where the team has come from. With the Arizona Cardinals, it’s been pretty tough for some significant stretches over time.
