After 123 years of being in the league, mistakes are bound to happen. The top 5  biggest mistakes of the Arizona Cardinals are uncovered.

For the league’s oldest franchise (no, not Chicago or Green Bay) they’ve had their moments of bad foresight and mistakes. But which ones are included in my set of the top 5 biggest mistakes of the Arizona Cardinals? Some you may have never heard of due to such a long history of subpar seasons and moving around as much as they’ve have. This may be a reason why the fanbase was never allowed a chance to grow.  They’re all over the spectrum from the draft, letting players go, and in-game decisions that set the team back.

More specifically, the top 5 biggest mistakes of the Arizona Cardinals involve (in no particular order in this listing) a Hall of fame quarterback, Super Bowl XLIII, a former member of arguably the best secondary the team has ever had, missing on more sure-fire draft prospects in recent years, and finally an offensive lineman who may not have been the right choice.
