J.J. Watt is officially a member of the Arizona Cardinals.

Now that the Arizona Cardinals have signed J.J. Watt to a two-year contract, it foreshadows changes within the organization. As we know, the Cardinals have a plethora of restricted and unrestricted free agents. And now it’s clear that the team won’t keep everyone.

So, who will the Cardinals let walk with Watt as an official member of the team? We can assume that the Cardinals won’t keep everyone lining up along the front seven, including a couple of edge rushers slated to enter free agency.

Also, Watt’s two-year deal is reportedly up to $31 million, with $23 million guaranteed. This definitely means we will see a few high-priced free agents walk. And don’t be surprised if the Cardinals even make a surprising cut.

But for the purposes of today’s post, let’s explore three free agents the Cardinals may lose with the J.J. Watt signing. Starting with one of the team’s most valuable players from 2020. We won’t focus on obscure names, but instead larger names that played a huge role on the team in 2020.
