October

Week 4: Sunday October 3rd – vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Cardinals need to get over the hump in 2021 against the Rams.  The Cardinals haven’t defeated them in five years.  It has been seven years since the Cardinals defeated the Rams at home.

The Rams will be sporting their new starting quarterback Matthew Stafford.  It will be the first challenge to see which defensive line is better with the changes the Cardinals have made for the upcoming season.

Week 5: Sunday October 10th – vs. Indianapolis Colts

This will be the first visit for the Colts to Arizona since 2013. The Cardinals defeated the Colts 40-11, Bruce Arians first season in the desert.

This time around the Cardinals will be facing a team’s new quarterback for the second week in a row. The Colts obtained Carson Wentz from the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason.

Week 6: Sunday October 17th – @ Seattle Seahawks

Last season the NFL scheduled this game on a Thursday night.  It was a decent game but ended up in a 28-21 loss.

Hopefully this time around things will be different with the Cardinals heading into their bye week. Let’s just hope Murray is healthy when this game rolls around.

Week 7: BYE

Week 8: Sunday October 31st – @ Dallas Cowboys (Sunday Night Football)

Well, this game was on Monday night last season. It was the Cardinals defeating a Dallas Cowboys team playing without starting quarterback Dak Prescott. Prescott presumably will be able to play in this one.

A Murray-Prescott matchup was what ESPN had hoped for last season.  We may get another shot at this.
