Isaiah McKoy/Kent State

McKoy’s size will make you do a double-take. And despite his small school status and having played in just four games in 2020, his production also makes you look again.

He logged 25 receptions for 455 yards over those four games, averaging 18.2 yards per catch and scoring 5 touchdowns. His yards per catch average gives him the look of a deep threat, and the year before he had a respectable 15.3 YPC, so 2020 is no outlier.

His size (6’2, 205lb) allows him to get physical with opposing defenders, making him the rare size/speed prospect. Athlon Sports has a 3rd/4th-round draft grade on him and unfortunately, the Cardinals have a gap between the 2nd and 5th round as of April 10th.

However, given the fact McKoy is coming from a small school and possesses a limited route tree, it could scare teams away and drop him into the fifth round or later. If that’s the case, the Cardinals need to at least consider his potential.
