3 reasons why Larry Fitzgerald will return to the Arizona Cardinals in 2021

The Cardinals have maintained that Larry Fitzgerald has a spot on the roster if he wants it. They have maintained that Fitz has not told them of his specific plans yet.

A few weeks ago, Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury mentioned he talked with Fitz but didn’t talk football and his status for the upcoming season. Whether you want to believe that or not is another story.

Arizona general manager Steve Keim has also maintained the same story. Again, believe what you will, but the fact we’ve been given no definitive answers and publicly the Cardinals have said they still want him is something.

We know the Cardinals receiving room is pretty full right now. However, if Fitz decided to come back, there are immediately a couple of guys that come to mind that should have their bags packed just in case.

With the Cardinals likely to go a minimum of six receivers and may go seven, the Cardinals aren’t removing a superstar from the roster to bring him back.
