The biggest name out of the crew of the still-available Cards free agents, of course, is the great Larry Fitzgerald. Will Fitzgerald come back for another NFL campaign, or is the 37-year-old truly ready to get on with his post-football endeavors?
A recent report indicates that the team “definitely” wants Fitzgerald to return. Apparently, there’s still room for the 11-time Pro Bowler in what is currently an extremely crowded room of Cardinals wide receivers.
Finances is most likely the reason for the stalemate between the wideout and the franchise. It’s entirely possible that Keim and Fitzgerald have different opinions on what would be considered a fair salary. Arizona fans will find out the ending of this ongoing saga soon enough.
