As the trade rumors continue to fly, who are the four teams around the NFL that should deal for Arizona Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones?
The Arizona Cardinals have an unhappy Chandler Jones on their hands. While most Cardinals fans were on cloud nine when the team acquired J.J. Watt in the offseason and dreaming about the pass rush, apparently the signing must have upset Jones.
When Jones officially requested a trade at some point during this offseason, the ole rumor mill started to churn again.
Today’s NFL players have been increasingly vocal about their desires on team issues. Whether that’s Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasting an entire offseason just to get one contract year voided and trade for a geriatric Randall Cobb, or the contract demands of Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard, it’s a new wave of tactics by the players.
Four teams could use one of the most productive defensive linemen currently in the NFL, presented in no particular order. Trading Jones would be a good move for Arizona, as draft capital is lacking around the NFC West. Who knows what Cardinals general manager Steve Keim would flip those picks for.
