Cardinals might be facing a thin secondary

In Week 1, the Arizona Cardinals pass rush got home on Ryan Tannehill a total of six times, making the job a bit easier for a secondary that had a lot of question marks after Malcolm Butler’s surprise retirement.

In the first quarter of the Vikings game, rookie Marco Wilson, who played relatively well in Week 1, went down. He did not return for the remainder of the game. According to Kliff Kingsbury, Wilson will remain day-to-day.

The Wilson injury highlighted what most Cardinals fans were already aware of and fearing; a thin secondary. A practice squad member, Antonio Hamilton, came in to replace Wilson, and it should be expected that other 2021 draft pick Tay Gowan will be active as an additional backup even if Wilson is available to play this week.

This all begs the question, should the Arizona Cardinals be in the market for additional help in the cornerback room?
