The Arizona Cardinals head out on the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars for a pivotal Week 3 matchup.
The Arizona Cardinals have started off the 2021 season 2-0, as they did in 2020. Last season, they were heavily favored against a Detroit Lions team that was on an 11-game losing streak. You know what happened. Lions’ kicker Matt Prater knocked in a game-winning field goal and sealed the team’s first win since October 2019.
Fast-forward to 2020, where Prater is now a member of the Cardinals. In Week 2, Prater played a massive role in the win over the Vikings when he drilled a 62-yard field goal attempt, showing he still has it in clutch moments.
This time around, the Cardinals find themselves under more pressure, facing a Jaguars team that has dropped 17 straight games and were basically blown out by the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos over the first two weeks of the season.
The Cardinals, on paper, are the more talented of the aforementioned teams the Jaguars faced. So will they not fall victim to a potential trap game in 2021 and start 3-0 for the first time since 2015? Find out in today’s bold predictions.
