Arizona Cardinals vs. Houston Texans prediction Week 7
Currently, the Cardinals are favored to demolish the 1-5 Texans by more than two touchdowns. If the spread remains the way it currently is until the game begins, it will be just the fourth time in Arizona’s franchise history that they have been favored in a matchup by 14 points or more.
Before this week, the most the Cardinals have ever been favored by was 16 points in Week 16 of the 2009 season when they defeated the St. Louis Rams by a score of 31-10.
Arizona has never been on the losing end of a matchup in which they were favored to win by 14 points or more. Houston has been favored to lose by 17 points or more three times in their team history, and in each of these instances, they left the field with a loss.
With the way both teams are currently playing at this point in the season, it is incredibly difficult to envision a scenario that doesn’t result in the Cardinals having a 7-0 record after the final whistle is blown against the Texans next Sunday.
