Justyn Ross – WR (Clemson)

This past offseason, the Cardinals took a chance on A.J. Green in free agency. There was some excitement about the signing, but some still felt the longtime member of the Cincinnati Bengals was past his prime after two underwhelming seasons in 2019 and 2020.

This year, however, Green has proven to be a great addition to Arizona’s offense as he’s hauled in 29 passes for 456 yards (15.7 average) and three touchdowns.

Despite his success with the Cardinals, Green is currently scheduled to be a free agent in 2022, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he attempted to try and cash in on one last big payday with another team.

If Green does depart from Arizona after this season, Clemson wide receiver Justyn Ross would be a great selection for the Cardinals to make in the first round of the 2022 draft.

Ross has a similar size to Green at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds. But the Clemson pass-catcher is much more agile than the current Arizona receiver.

Ross has the ability to burn a defender deep down the field or take a screen pass 50 yards to the house. If he’s still on the board when it comes time for the Cardinals to make their first-round pick next year, he’s definitely a prospect worth considering.
