The Arizona Cardinals will attempt to avoid a second loss in a row when they face off with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 9.

In Week 8, the Arizona Cardinals came up short against the Green Bay Packers. Now, the Cardinals will face a San Francisco 49ers team that will have tight end George Kittle back in the lineup in addition to Jimmy Garoppolo starting under center. Both missed the action when these two teams squared off earlier this season.

On the other side, Arizona is still sketchy about the status of quarterback Kyler Murray. If Murray can’t go on Sunday against the 49ers, Colt McCoy will get the nod. Also, the Cardinals will be without J.J. Watt for the second week in a row.

This weekend, Arizona is facing off with the second-best defense in the league in terms of total yards allowed. However, it’s also a defense that has allowed more points than their total defense indicates, and they lack turnovers.

That said, the Cardinals may have a few favorable matchups on offense against the 49ers’ defense, so let’s look at three of them.
