10 greatest moments in the Cardinals career of Larry Fitzgerald
8. Fitzgerald’s best career game in 2015 against the Bears
Coming off of a dramatic win against the New Orleans Saints at home, the Cardinals returned to their birthplace in the Windy City to take on the former cross-town rival Chicago Bears. The game started with fireworks as David Johnson took the very first play back for a 108-yard kickoff return touchdown.
Then it’s was Larry Fitzgerald’s time to shine. This was a competitive game for quite some time, but the more the Cardinals got the ball to Fitz, the more he helped pull the team away. His second TD grab of the day highlighted this game, which came on a Chris “CJ2K” Johnson-Carson Palmer flea-flicker touchdown. There was blatant pass interference from one of the Bears’ defenders, but Fitzgerald hauled it in anyways.
Fitzgerald would finish with his third touchdown by running over former Cardinal and Super Bowl XLIII championship barrier, Antrel Rolle. The final stats on the outing against the Bears would be eight catches, 112 yards, and three touchdowns. It would be the only regular-season game where Fitzgerald would score three times in one game.
