3 favorable matchups for the Cardinals in Week 15 vs. the Lions

Arizona’s running game vs. Detroit’s run defense
Kyler Murray‘s numbers have stagnated over his past three starts, throwing just two touchdowns and four interceptions. Murray’s only two touchdown passes in his last three starts came against the Chicago Bears during his first game back after a month-long layoff.
And Kingsbury “feels good about” James Conner and Chase Edmonds playing on Sunday. Conner has not practiced as of Thursday, but the Cardinals designated Edmonds to come off of Injured Reserve.
Whether just one or both of them are able to go, it spells trouble for the Lions’ defense. Detroit ranks 28th in rushing defense through 13 games. Their rushing defense is so bad that opponents have run the ball on them 411 times in 2021. Only the Los Angeles Chargers (412) have seen more rushing attempts against in 2021.
Even if neither of them can go and the Cardinals turn to Eno Benjamin and Jonathan Ward, look for the Cardinals to run the ball often against Detroit. And don’t be surprised when Murray also gets involved in the running game.
